INSTALLATION POLICY
By scheduling an Installation of Casa Smart Lock, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions of Installation.
-
Door and frame suitability
I confirm that the door and door frame are made of wood and meet the door-thickness requirements specified on the relevant CASA product page. -
Safety-door clearance
If a safety door is installed, I confirm that the gap between the main door and the safety door meets the clearance requirement specified for my smart-lock model. -
No concealed metal reinforcement
I confirm that the installation area does not contain any concealed metal sheet, pipe, rod, grill, wiring or other reinforcement that may obstruct drilling, cutting or fitting of the smart lock. -
Single-door installation
I understand that CASA smart locks cannot be installed on double doors unless the selected model is specifically stated to be suitable for double-door installation. -
Final feasibility inspection
I understand that installation is subject to final inspection by the authorised CASA installation engineer. Installation may be declined or postponed if the door, frame, thickness, clearance, alignment, construction or site conditions are unsuitable. -
Permission for door modification
I authorise the CASA installation engineer to carry out the drilling, cutting, chiselling and other reasonable modifications required to install the smart lock. I understand that these modifications are permanent and that minor marks or chipping may occur during normal installation. -
Property-owner permission
I confirm that I am the property owner or have obtained the property owner’s permission to install the smart lock and make the required modifications to the door and frame. -
Standard installation scope
I understand that the complimentary service covers one standard installation visit per eligible CASA smart lock. Carpentry, door or frame repair, polishing, painting, electrical work, cabling, removal or refitting of another lock, relocation and other non-standard work are not included. -
Unsuccessful or repeat visit
I understand that a revisit charge may apply if installation cannot be completed because the site is not ready, the information provided by me is incorrect, the door does not meet the prescribed requirements, the product is unavailable at the site, or an authorised adult is not present during the scheduled visit. Any applicable charge will be communicated before the revisit is booked. -
Product and invoice availability
I will keep the CASA smart lock, all supplied accessories, purchase invoice and order details available at the installation address. The product should not be installed, dismantled or modified before the engineer’s visit. -
Wi-Fi requirement
For Wi-Fi-enabled models, I will provide a stable and separately available 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection, the Wi-Fi password and a compatible smartphone for app setup and demonstration. -
Authorised installation and warranty
I understand that the smart-lock warranty becomes valid only after installation by an authorised CASA installation engineer and successful warranty registration. The engineer will register the warranty after completing the installation and product demonstration. -
Installation demonstration
I or an authorised adult will remain present during installation and will receive the product demonstration, including instructions for passwords, fingerprints, cards, app access, battery replacement and emergency mechanical-key operation. -
Emergency access
I understand that I must keep the mechanical emergency keys securely outside the locked premises or with a trusted person. CASA is not responsible for lockouts caused by misplaced keys, forgotten credentials, depleted batteries or failure to follow operating instructions. -
Appointment scheduling
I understand that my preferred date and time are requests only. The final appointment is subject to technician availability, serviceability of the PIN code and confirmation by CASA or its authorised service partner. -
Cancellation and rescheduling
I agree to notify CASA at least 24 HOURS before the scheduled appointment if I need to cancel or reschedule it. A charge of `500 may apply for late cancellation, customer unavailability or a failed visit. -
Service communication and information
I authorise CASA and its authorised service partner to contact me regarding installation, service, warranty registration and appointment updates. I consent to the reasonable collection and use of photographs, product details, serial number and installation records for service and warranty purposes, in accordance with CASA’s Privacy Policy. -
Final Acceptance
I confirm that the information provided by me is complete and accurate. I have read and accepted the CASA Smart Lock Service and Warranty Policy, Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions and request CASA to schedule the installation.
